Thyme is originally a herb from East Asia and the Mediterranean. The grey-green leaves are often part of the famous bouquet garni, a tied up mixture of various herbs used for among others to season bouillons. Thyme is perfect to season vegetables, fish, meat and all kinds of sauces. It can also be used to make tea or even syrup.
