Sorrel, what's in a name, has of course a sour taste. That's probably why it is one of those forgotten vegetables. It is for sure a pity, because the leaves are delicious in salads. It is also an ideal seasoning for fish dishes. Just think of the famous Flemish dish 'eel in green sauce' for example. You can also use it as a herb in sauces, soups and egg dishes.
